About the role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that powers Clym's SaaS platform. You will work closely with development teams to support microservices-based applications, automate infrastructure, and maintain reliable, scalable cloud environments.
This role focuses on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
What you'll work on
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and deliver infrastructure solutions
- Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using Google Cloud and AWS
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab pipelines
- Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters using Helm
- Design, implement, and maintain database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Maintain and improve existing infrastructure with a focus on availability and performance
- Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows using Pulumi
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Support security and regulatory requirements across infrastructure components
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, including Google Cloud and AWS
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Ruby)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Node.js and React environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Clear communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with a remote, distributed team
